Salvation Army Volunteer Wins Public Health Award
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Rebecca McSorley has been named as recipient of the 2010 Advocaty Award by Public Health - Madison and Dane County. She received her award on April 22 as part of a ceremony at the Alliant Energy Center.
As volunteer MEDiC Clinic Coordinator at the Salvation Army, Dr. McSorley focuses on client needs and guides medical students in working effectively with and advocating for the underserved population of the Salvation Army's homeless shelter system.
